Fifteen members of ROC the Future Alliance traveled to Atlanta, GA for three days of connecting, learning and creating change. Alliance members who attended represented parents, youth, health, education, human services, anti-poverty, philanthropic and advocacy sectors.
Together, we are showing what’s possible when systems are shaped by data and led by community. Across the country, communities are navigating mounting challenges and Rochester is no exception. Collaboratively, we are organizing around outcomes that matter most, influencing systems with strategic clarity and demonstrating the courage it takes to challenge the status quo.
The StriveTogether Cradle to Career Network builds on successes from coast to coast, representing about 70 communities across nearly 30 states.
This network affords us the opportunity to learn what other cities are doing to help young people meet seven key life milestones so that they have the opportunities they need to reach their goals, and, ultimately thrive.
We invite you to register for a compelling conversation with Susan Dawson to learn from the wisdom gained by E3 Alliance – Education Equals Economics in driving successful education systems change in the state of Texas.
This webinar, offered through the StriveTogether Training Hub, will feature real-life examples, such as how E3 Alliance decreased the gap between high-performing Black and white students accessing advanced math pathways by over 90%, increased the number of students enrolling in high quality Pre-K by nine times and saved the Central Texas region over $37 million by improving student attendance.

“Attending as a collaborative afforded us the opportunity to convey to the national cradle to career network the power and strength of our local cross-sector partnership. Over the course of the convening, we strengthened relationships, gained invaluable skills, shared insights and learned alongside our field’s leading change makers and thought leaders. Now, we return to Rochester inspired, hopeful and emboldened to bring back and apply all that we learned and absorbed to accelerate our collective ability to change systems, remove barriers and position every child in Rochester on the path to upward mobility.”
