Youth Leadership Program
The ROC the Future Youth Leadership Coalition is a youth-led collective impact initiative led by youth leaders and partner agencies. We are dedicated to lifting up our young leaders with Rochester’s best Youth Leadership Program!
Leveraging a network of community conveners, justice fighters and system changers this group of teens use their voice to inform policy and practices. Participants learn important leadership and advocacy skills and then become trainers to train new participants to become youth leaders.
Our Youth Leadership Coalition Goals
Youth leaders work collaboratively to establish a shared vision for the direction of youth voice and leadership within Rochester.
Youth leaders work collaboratively to activate youth voice through civic engagement through a Collective Impact Youth Summit which engages city representatives and community leaders.
Youth leaders become YLC trainers after completing 8 training sessions.
