Welcome our New Manager of Continuous Improvement
The Children’s Agenda is pleased to welcome Camille Simmons as the Manager of Continuous Improvement for ROC the Future. Camille will work directly with our Outcome Teams, Collaborative Action Networks, and other stakeholder groups to develop and improve processes to accelerate the impacts of our work. Camille comes to us from Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection. As the previous Manager of Operations, Camille oversaw a team dedicated to the agency’s youth employment, academic, college readiness, and career based services and partnerships.
Before taking on the role of Operations Manager at Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection, she served the agency in the capacities of direct care and provided school based supervisory oversight. During her time, Camille oversaw several special projects, including the collaborative inception of the East High School EPO ninth grade student focused supports with Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection. Camille received her bachelor’s degree from Keuka College in Social Work, and a master’s degree in Strategic Leadership at Roberts Wesleyan College. She is a 2010 graduate of the United Way’s African American Leadership Development Program and a 2015 graduate of Leadership Rochester, where she returns each year to serve on their Building Common Ground panel focused on race and equity. Additionally, Camille is a spoken word artist and is currently developing an interactive workbook for teen girls. She is a resident of the city of Rochester and graduate of the Rochester City School District. She has one son who is also a graduate of RCSD.
