If you are looking for ways to get involved, the United Way of Greater Rochester is providing essential support in response to COVID-19, including:

  • Activation of the Community Crisis Fund, in partnership with Rochester Area Community Foundation, to support nonprofits that provide direct services to those affected most by the economic impact of the coronavirus. This Fund is separate from the current United Way Annual Campaign.
  • Launch of a COVID-19 portal on Volunteer United, an online resource that will connect caring community members with the volunteer and in-kind donation needs of local nonprofits.
  • Launch of a Human Services Support Hub, in partnership with Monroe County, with a hotline and online community offering real-time updates, strategic guidance and other support to local human service agencies navigating increased needs and operational challenges.
