6th Annual State of Our Children Address – Sold-out!

Thanks to all who were able to attend our sold-out 6th Annual State of Our Children Address and Report Card Release, at the R. Thomas R. Flynn Campus Center on the Brighton MCC Campus. We hope you found this year’s event informative, engaging and beneficial as each of us play a critical role in the improvement of outcomes for Rochester’s children.

This year represented a significant change to our normal State of the Children format, by adding breakout sessions, and eliminating the key leaders panel.  It is our hope that as we move forward to advance improvement for kids, we provide more depth and background on our work, and share ways that the community can lend support to it.  We hope this was well communicated and felt.

We’d love to hear from you!  Please take a few minutes to take our post-event survey, by December 14th. Your feedback will be used to shape next year’s event.

Our photographer captured lots of great moments throughout the morning, and we’ve made them available.  Check out the album on Facebook to see a snapshot of the days’ event.

Presentations and materials from the breakout sessions are also available now! Look back over slides from your sessions and see what you missed in the ones you didn’t attend.  You can also see news coverage from this year’s event here.

Our work is never quite over, and we’re already planning for a more enriching experience for the 7th Annual State of Our Children Address next year. Stay tuned!
