Interview Process Underway for New ROC the Future Staff
ROC the Future has received a transformative gift from the ESL Charitable Foundation to support our backbone infrastructure and operations. We are adding two new members to our team to serve as a Director of Research and Analytics, and a Manager of Continuous Improvement.
In 2016, we embarked upon a year-long strategic review and planning process to refine our objectives and priorities, and to develop a plan of action to help us achieve our goals. Our new Outcomes Framework intensifies our approach to fully understand core outcomes, identify and prioritize what makes the most difference to improve them, target resources and support, and monitor progress towards achieving improvement. This year, in addition to our work with Collaborative Action Networks (CANs) and on kindergarten readiness, we have launched Outcome Teams to help improve early grade literacy and high school graduation, and to build the capacity of our community to take on this work.
The newly hired Manager of Continuous Improvement will develop a culture of continuous quality improvement to support our Outcome Teams, Strategy Teams and CANs and the Director of Research and Analytics will support the management, analysis, integration and reporting of data for ROC the Future research to support our efforts to make informed decisions using data to move the work ahead.
We plan to hire and onboard the selected candidate’s by the beginning of January.
